This Queeriosities original design was created to honor Black History Month in 2021, and proudly pays tribute to the dearly departed Poly Styrene. Poly Styrene undoubtedly paved the way for many generations of female fronted punk bands that followed. In addition to being one of the earliest + most prominent women in punk rock, Poly Styrene was ALSO one of the first women of color to be recognized in the punk scene up until that point.
